Depression
Hello people! I am back with the new blog and today's blog is about depression which Indians are not really interested in talking about . But it is a thing which needs to be discussed.
So let's start.
Before starting what really is depression? Why do people go in depression? and there were many other questions in my mind before I had browsed about it on Google.
In a lay man's language depression is a phase where there is a constant feeling of sadness, lonelyness in life . A person going through the phase of depression starts loosing interest in what is going on around him and he somehow stops doing all those activities which people like you and me do on regular basis, which is not normal obviously; and this could be even worse if the treatment doesn't starts at time. Before getting into detailed information I would like to share one thing with you all which I found on google:-
Students who drop out of a high school before graduation are more susceptible to depression and anxiety and have a higher risk of facing mental and physical health problems later in life.
Why is this said so? Because these people are at an age where everything affects them . And most importantly because they are under pressure of getting good marks in their examination. And usually in these cases they try and commit suicide because they find only this option to escape the chaos and the difficulties of their life. At this phase of time what is to be done is to think and figure out that which option will be good for them and their family members. Apart from this they should keep their mindset positive which would help them overcome depression and anxiety. And as I always say that their is ray of hope in everything. So my advice to you all is that talk to the people whom you trust, share your problems, and if required go and visit a counselor who would help you come out of this phase of life.
